MEDIUM OF EXAMINATION

Examinations will be conducted in English medium.

EXAMINATION CENTRES

a) The examination centers will be distributed in all the major centers as follows:-

b) The institute reserves the right to change / cancel any notified center, if adequate number of candidates have not applied for the particular center.

However the candidate’s convenience will be given top priority in fixing the alternate centers.

1. Examinations will be conducted twice a year in April and October every year during any Saturdays and Sundays.

2. Candidates should secure 40% marks to pass in each paper. The candidates will be declared successful and are entitled for the Diploma only after passing all the papers prescribed for examination.

3. For Six Months Course  :  In order to complete the Diploma, they can appear all the papers in one attempt or by writing the papers one by one or in groups in as many attempts as it suits them. But they have to pay examination fee of Rs.150/- or the prescribed amount every time per paper in which they have to appear.

4. Applicants can write the arrears in the subsequent attempts, but have to complete all the papers within 3 years from the date of enrollment.

5. If the candidates are unable to complete the Diploma within 3 years from the date of enrollment, a lumpsum fee of Rs. 200/- is to be paid to revive the expired enrollment.

6. There is no provision for revaluation of papers in the case of students who have failed. However, re-totalling of specific papers can be done for which the student has to pay a fee of Rs.50/- per paper.

EXEMPTION

Candidates after passing one diploma can avail exemption of same paper(s) while joining other diploma courses. Candidates are not permitted to join more than one diploma at a time.

AWARDING DIPLOMA

The Diploma Certificate and Mark Sheet will be forwarded to the successful candidates by Registered post.

CORRECTION IN THE CERTIFICATE

Any discrepancy (correction in name) with the Diploma Certificate and Mark Sheet will be entertained only with in a period of one month from the date of receipt of Diploma Certificate and Mark Sheet.

GENERAL

The decision of the Institute in all pertaining to the conduct of these courses will be final and binding on all students. The rules and regulations governing these courses including the syllabus are liable to be modified by Academic Council at their discretion, whenever necessary. All disputes subject to juristiction of court in Chennai city only.
